Mine's a BT100 and while she looks stunning and drives like a champ, there are things missing - things like Bluetooth connectivity, for instance.
Obviously, there are a raft of options you can use when attempting to update your car's entertainment suite. For like a brand new stereo system, for instance, is the most obvious port of call - you can add in Bluetooth AND support for things like like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
And these like me you're operating on a budget, you're best off going with something that costs next to nothing but works just as well as a fully-fledged Bluetooth-enabled stereo system.
All modern cars, even crap ones, come with Bluetooth as standard. So if you're running a 2013-and-up motor, odds are good you already have Bluetooth as standard in your motor. And that's great.
But for those of us running older, cheaper, second-hand cars, you need a quick and simple solution for connecting your phone to your car's stereo. And after months of trawling Amazon and using utterly rubbish products, I believe I have now found I need the Bluetooth receiver. For the record I have tested a bunch of solutions and workarounds. All kinds of crazy rubbish and none of them worked as I desired. I just wanted something simple, that worked consistently, allowed for high quality audio.
I also wanted a Bluetooth receiver that basically got out of the way once it was installed. But it was worth it. Because finding the sunitec BT100 V4.1 Bluetooth Transmitter / Receiver was the end result and I am well chuffed with pretty much everything about this little setup.
Problems I Encountered
The most annoying was a lot of these so-called-wireless receivers for your car require odd things like retuning your radio, or lots of fiddling around. The other thing is that most of them have TERRIBLE audio quality, as they're steaming everything over Bluetooth.
If you want the best sound possible, you need to go through the car's AUX-in port. This means the audio will play in the highest possible quality as apposed to sounding like a 1950's transistor radio, which is exactly what it sounds like when you go the non-AUX route.

I'd pretty low expectations ahead of testing this; I'd been disappointed by so many in the past.
